MJAFT !Movement do support the requests of the 10 students  “Ismail Qemali” Vlora University, who has started an hunger strike since 5 (five)days ago, at the premises of this educational institution. MJAFT! considering the  requests of the students (Law Faculty students) as well as respecting their initiative makes a call to the Education and Science Ministry to take a serious a stand regarding student’s request.

On the other side MJAFT! movement declares that no politicians should use this strike for political reasons but to contribute to resolve this issue through influencing to relevant institutions like Vlora University Rectorship and Education and Science Ministry.

 “As long as there is no law to s---- the student’s requests, this issue could be easily solved through a Decision of  Education and Science Ministry. Although the students has tried several time to meet ministry’s representatives in Tirana, the doors had always been closed for them! For any strike’s consequence Education and Science must take public responsibility as long as It does not receive the student strikers to communicate and find a solution for them”  -- said Ardit Rada, representative of MJAFT! movement.   

 “We are today here to express to these students our support, who have started the ultimate level of the protest to solve the problems caused by the Ministry itself. The solutions provided by the competent institutions are ridicules and without consulting prior to the students themselves” – was expressed MJAFT! movement representative.

The students are asking to be supplied with the diplomas that belongs to the four year study system and do not accept their new format in conformity with the Boulogne Chart format. According to the students as their studies, that they have already carried out belong to previous education system, the moral agreement made with them and the previous system must be respected until the end, either for the curricula or the diploma format. 

Looking at the scandalous conditions of this strike as well as the uglified situation of the students, MJAFT! requires the Vlora University Rectorship as well as Education and Science Ministry to find a solution as soon as possible, otherwise they will be responsible for all the consequences of this righteous determined protest.
