DO NOT VOTE. Make the right election.

09.11.2009

A group of activists from Prishtina joined the VETVENDOSJE Center in Peja town, where the snotty man with the tie was presented, as the symbol of what is common to all the candidates who are running to be elected. “As the politicians are making their differences dramatic to us, the snotty man is what they have in common. The snotty man as the smartest guy, who do not stop boasting”- said the activist Zgjim Hyseni. Thousands of leaflets, explaining why must not be voted, were spread among the Peja citizens.

Another group of activists wrote down “ DO NOT VOTE” at the billboards of Central Election Commission in Prishtina, while some others spray on the walls of Prishtina city the writings:

I vote
You vote
He/She votes
We vote
You vote
THEY PROFIT

Four big posters, stuck on a prism,  were presented at 14.00, in “Mother Theresa” Square in Prishtina. A poster showed that voting is for the snotty man, the second poster showed that voting is for the new communes where serbs population is the majority, the third poster showed figuratively, that this local election in Kosova is a territorial disintegration  of Kosova, and the fourth poster had a big drawing where the ballot of the citizen turned into money (for politicians) as soon as it ended  into the ballot box.

I the afternoon, the activists of VETVENDOSJE movement and MJAFT movement put stickers with the inscription DO NOT VOTE at the red lamps of the traffic lights.
